Story Machine offers the chance to focus on what matters most to you: writing. We get your book to audiences without you needing to spend your life promoting it.

It begins with your book, whatever its format or content. We imagine the best way to bring it to life for a live audience. A Story Machine show retains the text at the heart of the production: your words, characters and stories are presented to the audience in an exciting new context but the book remains – often as a physical prop, from which the performers read.

You can be involved in as much or as little of the production as you wish. Sometimes authors will appear at their events via video, or reading their own work. Other times, the writer is invisible. Just as every book is unique, so is each of our events.
