Elke Huismans

I catch by night.
Take only the eyes.
The bodies wriggle.
I hold them. So.
With my smallest spoon
I scoop out the eyes.
Like this. You see?
I swallow them whole.
Immediately.
To retain the powers.
The fish I throw back.
Disgusting things.
Bottom feeders.
Absolutely filthy.
