Lighthouse 28 – The Accidental

Description

The accidental. Where to begin? Accidentally? And what does that mean? I could blindfold myself and type at random, perhaps. I could stick a pin in the dictionary and begin with whatever word I impaled. Ali Smith, whose title I have (accidentally?) appropriated, begins her novel The Accidental two pages before the chapter entitled The Beginning, which itself begins mid-sentence. Where to begin? Here is a beginning of sorts.
